There is a second listing for Emma O. in the NB Death Register: Resided in Portland, Saint John County; died in Portland, Saint John County NB.
Here is an image of this stone taken in 2002.
  There is no cemetery listing for a J. R. Vanwart in New Brunswick. I do find a marriage for J. R. Vanwart to Rilla Y[erxa] Jones in 14 Jan 1890 in York County NB. Further investigation shows this to be James Robinson VanWart. While James Robinson is the only listed VW in the vital records, this does not guarantee that Emma's J. R. is James Robinson.

Aug 17, 2000 I have a copy, if you need a look-up for other names.  Or if you are interested in the history itself of the cemeteries of Spencer, that portion is online as part of the Rootsweb site for Spencer NY.

I assume that the incomplete data for two of the names above must indicate that Lewis J. and Myra Van Woert were still living when the book went into publication in 1906.

A further note: At the end of book there is the following comment. "A study of the map of the cemetery and various newspaper accounts gives information concerning burials in Evergreen Cemetery, which have been corrected as far as possible by data furnished by several residents of Spencer. A large number of the unmarked graves are recent. They will be marked as soon as it may conveniently be done; but in order to complete our list, as far as we can do so today, we include these names: [15 lines of names omitted, then] Wm. VanWoert."

And lastly: In this publication, the following cemeteries in Spencer did not have any Van Woert or related surnames: Old Cemetery at Spencer | Baptist Corners | North Spencer Cemetery | Cemetery on the W. B. Garratt Farm | Cemetery on the Old John Stevens' Farm.

Nov. 19 2006 I found the answer to the question about Lewis J. and Myra at the Rootsweb Evergreen Cemetery page, plus some additional info.  Unfortunately there were some conflicts as well.

New names: Maime, Maria w/o Samuel D., Mildred, and Samuel D.
Conflicts: Myra M. (Lord's) two entries and two birth dates; Tabitha's and Lydia's death dates.

  This document has a number of page indications. It is on p. 11 of Volume I of the New Brunswick Canada, Queens County Cemeteries. The Hampstead Burying Ground information itself is marked as "P757 pages 48 - 53." The page designations within the text here are as in the original, as are the inconsistencies of style and spelling. This is the complete document.

Hampstead was one of the first Loyalist Settlements founded in 1783. Many of its first settlers had been residents of Hampstead in the State of New York. It was named for that district on Long Island. This graveyard is situated on the lower end of the Parish, near the Baptist Meeting house. The oldest grave in the cemetery dates back to 1822. It appears to have been originally a private burying ground of the VanWart family and afterwards to become a general place of interment.
