Please note that I have not standardized the Van Wert variant surnames into one version. While there is much to be said for doing this--ease of searching the site--I think there is an equal argument for perserving the form which is likely to be in many of the sources.

As to given names, I have preserved common alternate spellings such as that for Ruth / Rutger Van Woert. There are also a number of anomalies such as Annetje Jochems Van Weert who has a brother, Jacob, whose surname is Van Werdt.
