	177. JOHN D.7 COE (Samuel S.6 (79), Samuel S.5, Samuel4, Lieut. Samuel 3, Capt. John2, Robert1), born in Orange County, New York, Oct. 24, 1795, lived in Montgomery Township, Orange County, New York, until about 1850 when he removed to Brooklyn, New York, where he afterwards resided and died Sept. 3, 1875. His will, dated May 20, 1873, names wife Jane Ann, daughters Maria Coe and Phebe Coe, daughter Eugenia wife of Jacob Hart of Brooklyn, son James Coe and his three children: Luella Florina, Mary Ella and Eugene Wade, grandson James Albert Coe, son of son William Coe, daughter Susan H. wife of J. F. Van Nort, and son William Coe. (Kings County Wills, Vol. 61, p. 123.) He married first about 1816, Elizabeth Snyder, born June 16, 1789, died Sept. 27, 1841, daughter of William Snyder of St. Andrews, Montgomery Township, Orange Co. N. Y. He married second, Mehitable ---. He married third, Jane Ann Van Nort, widow, who died in New York City, May 7, 1893. [All of his children were by his first marriage.]
