[It is of interest to me to see the differences between this record and that provided as the Van Woert Family. Both appear to have been transcribed from the same source--a bible owned by the Fisher family of Spencer, N.Y. Both were transcribed by the local D.A.R. chapter. Although similar, they are not identical in format or content.
Because I have no idea which is more faithful to the original, I offer both. The substantive differences all have to do with Ellen, Lewis Jay Van Woert's daughter.]
